Boston TV Party

On Friday, December 14th 2007, I participated in the WGA-E rally, dubbed the Boston TV Party. I was lucky enough to get into one of the pictures for the event, albeit in the background. I'm the one in the pink hat. :-)

The real subjects of the photo are Joss Whedon (FIREFLY, ANGEL, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER), Jaime Paglia (EUREKA), and Rob Kutner (DAILY SHOW).

I was particularly thrilled to meet Rob Kutner. Years ago, I was told by an admittedly kind writing instructor that I would make a good writer for The Daily Show, so this gave me a wonderful opportunity to speak to someone who might have an idea about how I might get headed in that direction. They say things happen for a reason, and for me, this was the reason I was meant to be at this event.

And at the end of the day, it's nice to be part of the solution for a change. ;-)
